  1. I stayed for a few months during November and December of 2013. I would have stayed longer but I got married! It was an amazing place, so peaceful and I felt so free. You have your own part of the house, so you have as much privacy as you want. William and Jeannie were the best landlords I've ever had, if you ever need anything all you have to do is knock on their door and they are glad to help. My stay was perfect and I recommend this to everyone looking for a great place to stay

    1. I stayed here for a month. The couple was nothing but very lovely and helpful. The room was clean, spacious, and allowed for your own privacy. Willie and Jeannie were so sweet and caring the entire time I was there. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here!

  2. Willie and Jeannie were so awesome during our stay there. They prayed for me and my mom and we had an amazing time at Bethel. If anyone is looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay, I would recommend Blessed Guest room. It's not far from the church and it's a wonderful place to retreat to. I would tell my friends to stay there if they ever make a trip to Redding.

  3. We celebrated our 29th anniversary with an amazing weekend attending Bethel services and healing rooms. We stayed in the "Blessed Guest Room" which was so perfect for us. It was very roomy, comfortable, peaceful and private and had everything we needed. We brought our own food and the kitchen was amply supplied to enjoy all our meals there. We also were able to invite our dear friends who had also traveled far to come to Bethel for a conference to join us for a celebration dinner. When our weekend was over we were even more blessed to have Willie and Jeanie pray for us before we left town - it was the cherry on top of a perfect weekend! We will be back!!

We stayed in "The blessed guest room" for nearly three weeks. It was great.
Willie and Jeannie are wonderful hosts. They are people with love and compassion for others.
The room is cosy and nice decorated. The bed is great! The kitchen is good for making simple meals. It is lovely to have breakfast on the terrace in the sun!
The distance to Bethel is not to far by car. The place is peaceful and quiet!
We would love to come back!..........now!
Thanks Willie and Jeannie for creating such a place!

  8. I stayed at Willie & Jeannie's Blessed Guest Room in July 2014, the very first time I came to Redding to visit Bethel Church...and thereafter, on successive visits because it is more affordable than a hotel yet just as nice, is an easy drive to the church, gave me privacy & quiet for the reflection I desired, and my own kitchen...has a very comfortable bed that is also firm enough for the back support I needed...and it has its own efficient little computer when I needed to access the internet. Willie & Jeannie are terrific hosts; readily available when I needed something, sweet & relaxed, happy gentle souls, sociable & friendly yet respectful of my time and space. Eight months after my first visit, I decided to move to Redding. I rented their Blessed Guest Room for 6 weeks as I looked for long-term housing. They have often prayed with and for me. I treasure their sweet friendship.

  9. We stayed over a weekend during our visit to Bethel Redding. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable. It was so nice to have the our own private dining room with a microwave and refrigerator. They had bottled water in the fridge already cold for us which was a really nice touch. It is wonderful for people from the church to provide a nice place to stay overnight at an affordable rate...much cheaper than a hotel. Very quite and peaceful. The back porch was wonderful to sit out on Sunday afternoon and read and enjoy the sun.

  10. My wife and I loved staying at the Blessed Guestroom. We were made to feel very welcome by our hosts, Willie and Jeannie. They were very friendly and kind, and extremely helpful with anything we needed. They were very generous to us during our stay, for which we were very grateful. The accommodation was lovely. It was beautifully clean, spacious and well looked after. We stayed for a number of weeks and were very comfortable. We stayed lovely and cool in the apartment, despite the heat wave during our stay! The location was great too. Very peaceful and quiet, and a very easy journey to Bethel Church. We'd certainly recommend this place to our friends if they were planning a visit to Redding.

  11. We just returned from two nights this August in the Blessed Room and were thrilled with the comfort we received for the price. It was very private and we were able to come and go without feeling like we were imposing on our hosts.

The kitchenette is very usable and there is ample space to feel comfortable between the rooms. We will definitely consider staying here again on future visits to Redding!

  12. Me and my sister stayed in the Blessed Room while attending the Women's WONDER conference in Redding. We were so pleased to say that it felt like home. The Kitchen room was everything we needed for the 4 day stay, we had access to the yard, porch and laundry. They were very kind and thoughtful and even got to pray with them as well as them praying over my sister for healing. We would definitely stay again if ever in the Redding area.

What a gem this Blessed Guest Room. I was very blessed to find it. My husband and I stayed for a short 5 nights and found it absolutely perfect for our stay. Close to Hwy 5 it was a perfect location for our visits to Bethel Church and our excursions to the beautiful countryside. Even though you stay in their home, they have designed the rooms and private entrance so that you feel like it is just you. Jeannie and Willie have gone out of their way to provide a place of comfort and rest. I especially loved the water bottles in the fridge on arrival. The decor is tasteful and comforting and there is plenty of quiet space to pray. We stayed in January, so we did not make use of the inviting porch or serene backyard, but I plan to return, and would make this place my first option to stay.

  14. Don't think about it, book it! Just finished a 10 day stay in the Blessed Guest Room while attending a Bethel conference and thoroughly enjoyed it.

The suite is separate from the rest of the house with its own entrance so privacy in assured. The bed is very comfortable and the room nicely decorated. You could easily spend a lot more and receive a lot less elsewhere.

The suite has everything you need for simple meals, laundry and quiet time.

    I will return and recommend.

  15. So happy I found this place! We arrived late in the evening on Friday for a weekend conference. Willie and Jeannie were very understanding about our late arrival. They were very welcoming and made us feel at home. We didn't need to disturb their privacy after our initial meeting, but felt confident that if we had any additional needs they would have been met quickly and with grace and understanding. The rooms are nicely decorated and the rates are very reasonable. I highly recommend and will be returning the next time I visit Redding! Thank you!

  16. So lovely! I stayed four nights, during the School of Creativity. I don’t think it could get much better than this. A private suite with a nice “kitchen.” I prepare my own food, and I don’t know how I would’ve managed without this place. I was able to come and go on my own schedule. Also, I was able to wake up early and work out with plenty of room. You cannot beat this place for the price. Jeannie and Willie are such special people.

  17. Thank you Willie and Jeannie for opening up your home in this way! Your communication and care were a great encouragement to me and the space that you have cultivated for visitors to Redding will surely be a great gift for all who continue to pass through your doors.

For anyone interested in booking here, go for it! The private entrance (leading to private bedroom, another full room with a partial kitchen, and a full bath), great location (close to freeway access, yet tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac on the outskirts of town), and peace-filled home will surely be a blessing to you as they were to me.

May the Lord continue to bless and keep you both Willie and Jeannie, day by day!

  18. I stayed at the guest house 4 nights, conveniently close for a Bethel conference. Since I was travelling alone, it was wonderful to have a safe, peaceful, and so thoughtfully well supplied place to be. Willie and Jeannie met me at the front door and were friendly and personable. The guest area was private and has its own entrance. Having a kitchenette was a bonus. What great value all around. Thank you,Wilie and Jeannie!
